Running shoe advice Ryffel Running

Find the running shoe that truly fits you with us. With our professional running shoe consultation, we take a close look: from your foot shape and foot alignment, leg axis, to the way you roll over the ground, to your individual gait pattern. We offer various analysis options tailored to your needs. This ensures that you don’t just get any shoe, but the right one for your goals and your running experience.

1. Analysis of your current running shoes

Bring your current or old running shoes for consultation. Wear and tear, running patterns, and fit provide us with important first insights into your running style and needs.

2nd individual consultation

During the individual consultation with you, our running experts will learn more about you and your needs in order to find the right running shoe for you.

3. Static foot analysis

With the static foot analysis, we identify various indicators that are crucial for choosing the running shoe.

4. Dynamic motion analysis

With four simple dynamic exercises, we check the stability of your ankle and your leg axis. Using video recording, we can concretize the selection of the appropriate running shoes.

5th test run with video recording

The selected running shoe models are tested in short running sequences of approximately 30-40 seconds or longer if desired, and evaluated by us using video recording.

6. Our recommendation & your decision

Together with us, you have found the right running shoe for you. We wish you much fun while training!

Running analysis (CHF 120.00)

Video analysis of your running style is an optimal measure to improve your performance and identify any potential overload early on. It allows you to identify ingrained patterns in your movement and target your weaknesses – all with the goal of achieving the most efficient and healthy running style possible. Additionally, the running style analysis can be integrated into the purchase of running shoes. This service is only available by appointment.

1. Comprehensive needs assessment

We would like to get to know you, your needs, and any previous problems you may have with your musculoskeletal system.
Note: The runway analysis is performed with sports clothing if possible.

2nd run analysis with video recording

During the test run of the selected products, we record you using video.
Together, we calmly analyze your movement patterns and directly compare different running shoes with each other.

3. Instructions for exercises

Based on the two analyses, we show you targeted exercises to optimize your running style that can be integrated into your training routine. Your training will become more holistic, efficient, and you will make progress.

4. Static and dynamic motion analysis

Now let's take a closer look:

  • Statistically: Foot shape, foot position, leg axis and body posture
  • Dynamic: Movement patterns of the foot, heel bone and ankle under load

This is how we can see how your body moves naturally.
